Montana high country quality

I just recently sold my 40' diesel motor home and are now looking for a fifthwheel. We will only tow it approx. 1,500 miles a year in the form of 3, one week trips. We originally wanted a 2016 Montana 3160rl but I have started looking at the Montana high country 305rl. The build quality looks similar to my old 2004 Montana fifthwheel. I know I would like some of the new Montana features like the automatic leveling, bigger fridge fancier amenities but do to our limited use, I could live without them. Does anyone have any insight on the difference in build quality between these two units?
Thank you
  • You might ask your question on the Montana Owners Club forum. There are owners of all the various Montanas there and should be able to answer your question.
  • I also know some of the differences between the two include a 10" I beam frame versus a 12" I beam frame. Since it is a smaller unit and I'm not using it that much, I don't know if that would be a factor.
I was also looking at a 2011 kz Durango but I don't know anything about that brand, it's quality or the value.
