MORryde Independant Suspension

I don't have the Mor-ryde but I have looked into it and if I had a trailer I wanted it for I wouldn't hesitate to have them do it. I've heard only good things about the setup. I definitely would have Mor-ryde do the IS and disc brakes both as they have a system that works good together even if it were a couple dollars more.

I'm so glad I saw this post. I've been wanting to put disk brakes on my cardinal and had been regretting missing them on the order sheet when we ordered. I talked to Ron, and they have installers nearby, and will be doing the install in the next couple weeks.

We had Performance Trailer Braking upgrade my system to Titan Discs. The following year I made the trip to Indiana to have the IS installed, they just use different brackets and spacers if you have the discs already. Doing it that way is cheaper, as Rons price is cheaper than MORryde's for the setup. You will be very -very happy with the upgrade no matter where you get to discs..

We love our MorRyde IS and Kodiak disc brakes. Much better than the Dexter E-Z Flex and Dexter disc brakes we had on our Heartland Landmark.

It would be cheaper to have Mor/ryde do it all, otherwise the disc brakes have to be transferred from your existing axles to the IS axles. I had the IS installed on my last fiver and the change in towing characteristics was significant.

Our Mobile Suites came with MORryde IS and disc brakes. Best thing since sliced bread!

Seriously though, MORryde IS is really nice, no shackles to grease or wear out and no leaf springs to break. I think you get a MUCH better ride out the IS system too. I would not hesitate to upgrade.

If you take your trailer to MORryde in Elkhart they can do your brakes when they do the suspension. They do a GREAT job of "plumbing" in the brake lines! Once you have disc brakes you'll never go back to drums!
