What do you have that you consider "must have"? For me, it's an impact gun to run down the stabilizers for the trailer. I'm still struggling trying to find a RV leveler setup that's easy, quick, and doesn't take up much room. I'm tired of using 2x6's. Bulky, heavy, and sometimes they are too thick, so it goes from being too low on one side to too high.Just got a bumper pull toy hauler, and it has the little bubble level on the power tongue jack. Is that sufficient for leveling the trailer, or should I still get a level bubble for the front/side of the RV?

We've had gizmos and gadgets gillore over the years. And the truth-be-told, we have found "simplicity" is still the best. Leveling? a simple small carpenter's level, a few block of wood under your jacks for leveling and support. Garden hose, sewer hose, electric extension cord to connect to shore power.After that, pretty much everything else is just "fluff" and "stuff".... toys that get dragged along to help inflate an ego and feel important. (I know, I've been there and done that).I have a Surge Protector. I see the value in having that.After these items, the only absolute "must have" ... that I will not leave at home without when camping, is the good old fashioned hand held ... potato peeler! What....are you saying that we don't need enough stuff to completely outfit an aircraft carrier on a 2 year deployment?

Just got rid of lots of fluff stuff, its weight adds up fast...

I just bought a set of Andersen levelers to get rid of my boards I carry. Haven't had a chance to try them yet but they get good reviews on RV forums.

For me a must-have was our Progressive Industries EMS hard-wired surge protection. I have no doubt it saved our appliances. We were out and about at the Black Hills for the day. When we returned I noticed that we had an error code showing the power had been shut down to our trailer. The voltage was all over the place, both way high as well as low. It turned that there was a problem in the pedestal box. Kudos to the folks at Rafter Bar J for finding the problem and getting it fixed relatively quickly.
For leveling I used a couple of the stick-on type bubble levels and 2 sets of Lynx Levelers. If the bubble level read as 1 unit away from center, I would add one row of leveling blocks on the low side, 2 units off = 2 rows, etc. Very quick and easy.

The orange plastic blocks work great for leveling. They are $27.17 for a set of 10 on Amazon. Lynx Levelers---light & easy to get the right height. We also put them under the stab jacks.

I have one of those and need a second one, they really work great as long as you don't need to raise one side too high. They REALLY come in handy when the ground is slippery from gravel or rain since they don't slide when you try to drive up on them like blocks. Then you stick the wedge in and instant tire cradle.
