OCD

Well, basically, we put our 5th wheel away from April till December or January and it's no problem at all. When the 5th wheel is sleeping, the big Lance TC is on the truck as it's easier to pull the boat with the rig! Best of both worlds...

Elkhorn98, Really! Santa Rosa, California, and you don't camp November to February, you don't dash out for a weekend?
We live well north of you and try to get out for at least one weekend a month all year round.

I know especially this year. Today was our first rain in about 2 months! We do need to get out more. Next winter we will since the kids will be a little older.

Well done...hilarious! My wife and I talk constantly about getting out again. Because of an unexpected health problem, we missed the last 3 or 4 trips out last year. We are sooooo ready!

Sorry about the health issues. Hope all is ok now. I had five surgeries in 2011 due to some E-Coli fun! Set camping back a couple of years. I know how frustrating it is.. We just got home from a short 422 mile trip to north Florida. It's beautiful outside. Almost like summer.

Good time of year to check out Death Valley. Or Big Bend Texas. Too hot to go there anytime else.

i was wondering that myself . he might not suffer with this afflication as much as we do

Well we are still working so we do suffer from this also. We are lucky enough to live in the NW where four season camping is easy to do.
We keep the 5er stocked year round and can be gone at a drop of the hat!
Our current record is decided Friday am to go out for the weekend, I got out of work at 2:15 pm DW had the necessary food loaded in the transport tub, I got home aired the TV tires, installed the hitch, and headed to the storage yard. Fired up refer (cool day) loaded food in reefer, hooked up doubled checked all connections, and headed out. Left the storage yard at 3:30 pm. It is about 8 to 10 miles from work to storage yard, and home is about half way.
