Prime time Sannibel fifth wheels

Forest River has a Prime Time It seems that Prime Time is beginning to have issues with their builds. There are some success stories but many are having no response concerning issues. Although I believe this to be true with all brands Prime Time was thought to be making better than average units. It appears that that is no longer the case. Wear on the bottom of many slides is a huge issue and Prime Time has ignored repeats requests for help. They have finally developed a fix but has not come out publicly. Word of mouth from forum members has spread that news.

That being said, I have not had any issues with mine with the exception of some wear on the bottom of the kitchen slide and shearing of the key on the rear stabilizers. A piece of plastic and double sided tape.The key is so small on the stabilizer that I won't justify buying a new gear and key to repair. I use a cordless drill to run them up and down.

The Darco wrap on the bottom of those slides is a terrible material to use and will leak and wick water. They have gone away from that-while saying they have had no issues-to a different type.
