Browse Prime Time forum for problems. Crusader isn't better than Jayco.

Notable ongoing problems with the fading of the nose caps. PT doesn't seem to have solved the problem. New problems with the non-Lane couch.

Search this forum as well. I've posted my two cents on this question before.
  • I have a 2012 320RLT, had lots of little problems when first bought it. Their support was helpful but the dealer leaves a lot to be desired. The brown front cap is faded white and I wax it regularly so there is no excuse for Prime Time. It's in the shop right now for brake problems but as I said the dealer...... Would I buy another, not really. I'm looking at new 5er's now and not at Crusaders. Just hope the nasty looking front cap doesn't hurt the resale. X2 on the forum, lots of post from me.
  • Check out the forum at Prime time for material under the slide outs wearing. A problem Prime Time is aware of but has not fixed at the production end. There is a fix that your dealer installs and seems to be working. Slide out wood could get wet and then you are in trouble. We traded ours.
  • I have a 315 RST and the only issue so far(2 months)The brackets on the sofa sleeper are cutting into the cushions have them repaired and still waiting to see what Forest River aka Primetime is going to do. I got mine for $20K off msrp
  • Most of the bugs have been worked out on mine but it was painful. Actually the last trip out the wife told me the kitchen sink was leaking...again..Would I buy another one? I doubt it but then again I think they are all made like junk so I think its just the luck of the draw.
  • We have the 2014 CKT model Crusader. We did have some wear under the slide, but have the kit installed to prevent further wear. We have not had any fading on our front cap as of yet, it will be 2 years in 3weeks since we bought it. Like someone else mentioned, they all leave a lot to be desired in the quality, so I find our unit no more troublesome than others. Prime time has responded well to our issues and the dealer is a major player in response as well. We love the floor plan and the unit as a whole. Would we buy another? Perhaps, unless we found something else that intrigued us, but not because we hate or are frustrated with prime time.
