Quality Rear Bunk House

Looking for ideas about a new 36-40' bunk house. See my current 5th wheel in signature. We would like to move up a step or two for our next 5th wheel.

We camp about 60+ nights a year and travel long distance.

Our current unit has just over 30k miles and it is starting to show its age. I do not think this unit was meant to endure the kind of use we put it through. I am not complaining about the unit in any way. Just like to move up a step in quality. Maybe a full time rv/4 season.

Must haves:

Automatic landing gear
Frameless windows
Full body paint, high gloss exterior fiberglass
Outside kitchen
2 AC units
Weight is not a concern-see tow vehicle in signature

Appreciate the input

Originally we were thinking of a rear entertainment but decided to stay with a rear bunk for now. Till kids are older. Currently 7 and 9.

Thank you everyone for the info. Below is a start to my search. I have not actually researched cost yet as I wanted to find the unit I want first then compare costs. I really like the Double tree units but none gad an outside kitchen. We all enjoy the benefit of having ours now and dont want to give it up

So with that in mind. Considering my current unit as the foundation. How do these other units I found compare. To each other and to my current unit.

Thanks again for the info, and if you think there is another that I left off my short list please let me know.

Just something to consider.

We had a 33' bunkhouse for about six years. When we got it our sons were very small. Now they are 11 and 6 and growing like weeds.

We use our coach about the same (60 + nights) as you. Three x a year for one week vacations and then multiple weekend trips for baseball tournaments.

We looked at every bunkhouse combo known to man at the time and liked quite a few but it wasn't going to work for more than a few years with kids getting bigger and friends starting to go. The fold down bunk models beds won't work for a giant kid, we tried it.

We ended up getting the coach in my signature. The front living room set up has worked great for us and I'm so glad we did it. It takes two minutes to throw down 4 or five sleeping bags. For longer trips the couches fold out and quickly become air beds. The coach came with a jack knife sofa on one side. I called the couch manufacturer and bought another fold out directly from them and had it shipped to the house. Less expensive and easy to put in.

The front storage cabinets easily fit clothes, travel bags and all their gear. We put the sleeping bags in the bathroom closet. It takes a grand total of five minutes to clean the area up for more usable space.

Our coach has everything you listed with the exception of an outdoor kitchen. There may be other front living room models that have everything your looking for.

We have a Heartland Bighorn Silverado 37QB. It has 4 bunks in bunkhouse with it's own half bath and outside entry into bath. It has the outdoor kitchen. We lived in ours four a year plus while remodeling a house. GVW is 15k. Overall, we have been very happy with the unit.

Just looking at the Jayco Pinnacle fifth wheels at local area dealer.

No bunkhouses in the Pinnacle line, but the Jayco Eagle Premier model 375BHFS meets all your criteria.

This is what I would be looking at. I think it has all but maybe the full paint and frameless windows. I think you can get double pain windows but I don't thy come with frameless.
