I've owned 2 Ford Powerstrokes and the last one 2001 was a huge disappointment. The first 3 months we loved it, then it started having issues. We purchased it in 2002 and when the tranny went out at 125,000 miles and $5,000.00 later we told ourselves this is not the truck for us. Five years later we got rid of it and purchased a 2011 Ram 3500 dually 6 speed diesel with 34,000 miles on it, we found what we needed. We have a 29 foot 5th wheel and we also have a 4 horse slant horse trailer my wife hauls around. This truck has all the power we need and then some. I was never a Dodge person, this is our second Dodge in 2 years (van and the truck) and we love them both and we may just become a Dodge family instead of what we were, a Ford family.
