Ramp angle

I have a prime time fury 2910. When I loan my load or unload my can am Spyder the angle of the ramp is to steep and the bike hangs up. Any simple tip to stop this?
  • carry a couple of pieces of 2x8 and place them under the ramp where you will roll the bike off.
Raising that end on the ground a couple of inches will ease the angle at the top.
  • Several simple things can be done:
    - As mentioned a few boards under the ramp.
    - If you can park where the ground is sloping up would do a similar trick
    - Alternatively, you could raise the front which will drop the back.
    - If you back into the garage, just gun it...ooops sounds fun but maybe not the best idea.
  • Or add an extension that would flip over when the ramp is down, effectively lessening the approach angle.

On edit, where does it hang up? Top or bottom?

    yup.
  • A bit overkill I will admit, but it works on our Raptor and both our Spyder ST-L or our Spyder RT-S. The nose doesnt scrape either on the way up.

Just wish i had a 3d printer and have these made of plastic.
  • I use my leveling blocks, same as above post but a lot lighter and I carry them anyway.
  • Nice to have some feedback from the OP. Irksome: ask for advice and then disappear.

i think that is a great idea. I have them already and they link together. Thanks.
