Refrigerator/freezer drying during storage

Looking for some suggestion to keep my refrigerator/ freezer free from mold during storage. Just purchased a new fifth wheel and love it. We are not yet able to go full time so it is stored for some periods of time. The refrigerator is a residential design with the freezer on the bottom. With the kitchen slide out closed up the freezer door and left side refrigerator door cannot be opened. I am looking for options so as not to have a mold issue.

Doors don't need to be wide open, just opened a crack. We simply put a folded towel in doors to allow for air circulation, we are talking about 1/2" max 3/4".
I can't believe that the OP doesn't have that much room.

it only needs to be open a little...a 1/2 inch would be enough. As long as the seal doesn't touch.

For your situation determine if you can easily pop the freezer door off during storage.

As others have said, leaving it open is the best solution. If that's not possible then charcoal briquettes, unused coffee grounds in an open container or the old stand-by baking soda.

The refrigerator wont be a problem. I can leave the right side door open. The freezer is where the issue is. I don't think there is enough room to even leave it cracked.

Leave the doors open to circulate the air, and you should not have any problems!

Live very close to you and our rig is used once month for multiple nights. We did not connect the icemaker as we figured it would just get gross from not being continuous use. In over 2 years, we have had no issues what so ever (including mold or otherwise) with the residential fridge. We unload it and turn it off and leave the doors ajar between trips. Safe travels.
