My policy with National Interstate went up too. We switched to Nationwide. 25% less.

Interesting. I too was with National Interstate for 7 years - full timers coverage. Zero claims and no rate increases until 20% last year and an attempt at an additional 10% this year. I said no! My agent claimed it was due to overall rate increases in South Dakota.

Switching both rig and toad to Geico for similar coverage provided a 40% savings for me off what it would have been if I renewed.

We went from 600 at year to over 1200. Said that same stuff about Louisiana. Dropped them so fast, they bounced. Went with Good Sam's and have their ERS also.

We too have been very happy with National Interstate through AON. We too have unfortunately had several claims and they were paid with no hassle. We were able to take advantage of the disappearing deductible twice. Our rate combining both 5th wheel and truck were very reasonable and we also have the fulltimers coverage. Di

We have State Farm on our vehicles, including the RV. For us, the price quoted by Good Sam was within a few dollars of State Farm, both were less than $600/year.

I moved to Progressive several years ago. I dont believe it has gone up. Back in September I got into a bind between a vehicle and a tree. I was barely moving and did about 7800.00 to roof. They have been excelant. Had a few scratches on side (full body) paint, and he said if it didnot buff out they would pay to have it painted. The adjuster was excellant. I can pay a little bit more for that kind of service.

same for my American National auto/home insurance.. $300/6months on an 81k retail trailer, with full replacement coverage.

GS was 750.. BlueSky was 945. Progressive was 995. (all for 6 months).
no claims in the last 10 yrs. lack of companion policies eliminates the multi-policy discounts.

we've had to use the insurance, because of low trees damaging the roof.
we'll see how much it changes on the next renewal.
