RV of the Year?

I gotta admit it is a cool Idea and some people may like it and there has been alot of talk on the Montana Forum about it and most of us are not to sure about it,the Front Glass is Cool and can be easily cleaned BUT a couple of problems is NO basement front storage space and not much counter space or Island or much of a Pantry which is not good when you are making the Kitchen a big deal in this floorplan and also kinda torn on the wrap around Dinette some of us would like to see a standard one with table and chairs,we DO like the 2 new front living Floorplans 3710FL and the 3711FL they just came out with with the same big front window when you put the TV Down..THAT"S NICE but we give Montana credit for thinking out of the box and we will see if it sells and Knowing Montana if it does not sell in a couple of years they will dump it and move on

I did look pretty close a the glass at the RV show and it appears automotive windshield glass, so you don't get your dual pane for that window anyway. Dual pane is an option on the Montana.

hahahaha - ya - only the bugs that can't fly 65 mph will stick :S

do you have to extend that front slideout to be able to access the kitchen? looks like it would block a bunch of the stairs.

RV of the year is kind of like the girl making it on the cover of Sports Illustrated, I would take any of the girls in that magazine. But someone somewhere liked that Girl a little better.

We sa this one at the Wichita RV show last week.I couldn't fit between the fridge and the edge of the table.Not a bad lay out,but not for us.

I thought the same thing when we looked then someone pointed out that there is a latch on the underside and the tabletop then swivels.

How do you keep the bugs off the windshield across the front cap?

I was in this same RV today at the Washington, DC RV show. It is a Front Kitchen 5th wheel.

There were a couple of unique new features. I don't know how great those features will prove to be in the long run... but they are unique (at least to me) and they show some level of creativity.

So my guess is the award is kind of an award for "somebody did something a little new and different over here and it seems like it might be good".

The new (at least to me) features were a rotating oval kitchen table that made it easier to get in the U shaped dinette, front windshield for the dinette, and a pivoting bathroom door hinge.

Not a lot of new things, but they did stand out to me simply because I had never seen them before.
