Another neat feature is they accordion and hold that shape until you stretch it out. That way you can use one very long one for short duty as well.

Must have been some pretty light kids, I only weigh 160 lbs, and mine flattened some ,maybe not pancaked but bad enough that it leaked from me trying to straighten the shape back up . IMO they really are not that great, yes better then the standard hoses. They can be a pain to screw the fittings on. Overall I prefer them to the standard ones, but I think the newer Rhino Extreme will be the better hose, and it will not flatten at all , it appears to have something different then the wire coils inside it like the standard Rhino.

I think we need to point out here ,there are two grades of Rhino, the standard one ,and one called the Extreme . The standard WILL NOT hold its shape, it has the wire coils in it, and when stepped on will flatten pretty good. The extreme on the other hand will maintain its shape when stepped on. I believe the Extreme is about ten dollars more then the standard.

I have used the Blue Line through 5 RVs. Quality speaks for itself. However when I replace it I want one that keeps the length when you extend or collapse it. A problem at times with mine.

Rhino with the extension and supports.

as I have said before, black tank dumping is not a race for me. I always try to dump at full hookup sites and can dump at my leisure. avoid the hassle of using public dumps.
and you couldn't have dumped 10 full tanks if you include the draining/cleaning of the stinky slinky in the equation. :)

I draw the line at spending that much money to get sewage out of my black tank that is already gravity fed to begin with and the sewer system doesn't care one way or another if you poop is solid or all smashed up!

I had a CG site that (illegally I am sure) was tied into a MH up hill from me.

I.E. if you opened your sewer cap to dump at the same time the guy up hill was dumping you'd get a bath of sewage as it flew by the opening.

That said. The guy uphill from me had one of those macerator pumps for dumping it is so loud you can hear the darn thing churning and churning. So I had to wait until I heard it stop and he was done before I could use my sewer opening.

Gotta tell you it took FOREVER for that guy to dump one black tank with a macerator. :S I could have dumped 10 full black tanks in the time it took him to dump just one.

Just curious, because I've been at a number of sites where I don't think that thing would work well. But maybe it works well for you.
