Slide out not working

Switch does not respond, manual over ride is off, circuit breakers ok, fuses ok...stumped while waiting to see if rv tech can see us tomorrow

Not sure if you got this fixed or not. I had the slide out and mine would not retract to head home. I found I had O power at the slide motor or switch. Tracing back, the 12V connection in the breaker box was loose. Tighten the screw that holds the wire in the box and the problem never came back.

This may sound strange but it works for me. My slide stopped working,nothing happenened when I pushed the switch. I took it to a repair shop and he told me there was a "flat spot"in the electric motor. Just find the manual control, turn it about a quarter turn, then go back to the switch. Sound crazy I know but it works for me every time.

Sounds like your battery was to discharged to operate that BIG slide. After you plugged into the 50 amps your onboard charger charged the battery to a normal level. My big slide sometimes seems very slow also.

A lot of slides work off of 12 volt battery...so your battery has to be hooked up and charged. Check your battery with a battery charger or an electric meter (tester).

Another possibility is a bad ground wire.

Now I am confused...slide works....was plugged into 50 amp for 8 hours...still confused on 12 volt and batteries and 50 amp.
Anyone have a simple explanation

try checking the 30amp fuse boxs by the batteries. use a volt mtr.

Water pump works....fuses were checked

Your slide runs on 12 volt. Your symptoms sound like the slide is not getting power. That's were the 12 volt fuses / circuit breakers come in.

Are all the other 12 volt systems (water pump, lights, etc) working?

Did you look for an auto reset breaker?

Sounds like a dead battery.Your plugged in is your battery disconnect on or off?
i suspect it is off you ran your battery downand the cfonverter will not charge it due toa incomplete curcuit
