slide out sticking

Moved my 2000 Jayco up in the driveway. Plugged in house power. Main slide would not come out unless I really put my shoulder into it. after the first 6 or 8" it would then move fine. Comes back in fine. Checked the mechanism and there is no binding. Lubes it up but still no difference. it is a power gear slide out and I went to the website and followed their troubleshooting. Still no Luck. Any Ideas?

Did you check to make sure it is coming in evenly? If it gets out of adjustment, it might bind.

Sounds to me like something is binding in those last 8" when you bring it in. You should probably have someone operate it while you look closely at the leading edges as it comes in the last 8".
Have Fiver will travel with little or no notice at all. I do need to stop at rest areas now and then:)

It just seems like there has to be some sticking/binding early in the operation. I think it is normally harder on mechanisms to bring a slide in, than for it to go out.
