South Dakota License Plates
Can anyone give me any info on the procedure to get South Dakota license plates. Talked to the tax collector in Custer County and she acted like I was bothering her. Thanks Rick

Several advantages come to mind:
Low sales tax,
No state income tax,
1 day residency requirement to become resident,
NO Vehicle inspection so no returning to for that,
5 year license renewal - first 5 yr renewal can be done via mail, so 10 yrs before you need to return,
special RV statement when getting drivers license means your off the rolls for jury duty.
Several mail services to handle mail (be sure to get one that does internal audits to make sure you get every piece sent to you - Americas Mailbox doesn't).
Plus it's a great state to own property in (low cost-low taxes). What else do you need for full timing?
