Before doing any work yourself or getting someone else to do it for you, make sure you let the manufacturer know first, or your warranty could be voided or they will not cover the work because you didn't get their permission. I had work done by my dealer and called Forest River after the fact. Pictures were sent and the dealer told them the story but no coverage.
