Symtech slide mechanism on Voltage RV

I have a 2013 Voltage; built by Dutchmen fifth wheel. The living room slide mechanism has failed and I am having difficulty getting parts. I am told these units have experienced these problems; that is, the Symtech system on large heavy slide out rooms I am working with dealers and factory customer service, but so far not much help.

    You might have a better time locating parts if you looked for Schwintek parts. The motors that operate the gear systems on those units has been updated a couple of times since they first came out. Check on their web site there is a very detailed trouble shooting guide that might help you get your problems resolved. We had them on our first Voltage and they were more trouble then they are worth. Updated the Voltage and now have the cable system with no problems.

    ya if you can pull back rubber you can take a pic of the motor.Just did the same thing traded in for a cable slide system
