I have a 30 ft. 2011 cougar half-ton towable and don't know what to torque the nuts at. I thought it might be 70 lbs, but when I set them at that amount the nuts don't seem to be tight enough.
We torque our aluminum wheels every time we move. We also check the air pressure in the tires. Takes an additional 5 minutes. After a tire has been removed, aluminum wheels need to be torqued frequently until they are not loose. Something like at 10 miles, 25 miles, 50 miles, 100 miles, 150 miles. Some will be loose that long. Just a common sense safety precaution to check wheels on every moving day.
