Toy hauler suggestions

Shouldn't be a setting. Should just show up?

Ok I can't get the pict due to my preference setting. Not sure how to change it. Actually just went to preferences and not a clue how to allow it to show picts.

Yes, do indeed take a look. It's total tow length is the same as standard 35' 5th wheel due to it's stepped front end design. I just sold it's sister trailer, a Road Warrior 30C and also go to older smaller campgrounds in the northeast. I never had a problem getting into anywhere. My previous 36' travel trailer had a longer total length with my truck and was harder to get in and out of sites.

You can always do what we are doing with our current rig. It's about 800 miles each way. Going out and back to OH a different way to keep it interesting. Staying over at the dealer to work out the bugs if any. They will fill me with water and let me plug in as long as I like to make me feel comfortable that all systems are go. Making an adventure out of it. I'd rather run through the systems there than have it delivered.

Thanks for the info Taken! That makes a lot of sense. I've actually spoken with one of the salesmen at lakeshore rv who made that video I posted and he told me the same thing about the MSRP. They might be a good option for me but MI, or OH is a long journey for me. They say in the video they deliver but I'm not sure how I'd feel about that or how much that would cost since I forgot to ask before we hung up. I think I need to do a little in person investigating and with a purchase this large perhaps making the trip wouldn't be a bad idea.

Jerry, almost all major mass marketed brands are of equal quality. They all have mostly good ones and they all have lemons that people join forums to complain about. It's just like the big three trucks. Picking a Ford, Ram, or GM is like picking a flavor of ice cream these days. There is no right or wrong, just personal preference. With RV's, I just go with what brand has the standards and options I want with the floor plan that suites me best. I had great luck with a Heartland product last time, my 30C. However, this time I went with a Forest River product as the XLR Thunderbolt had the best floor plan for me with a great set of standards and options. So, check all their websites, pick the floorplan that is best for you, and find which brand has the standards and options you want with that floorplan.

All that said, remember that the MSRP on RV's is fabricated. If you shop the big places in OH, you can save huge money off local. I got 36 percent off the fake MSRP on my XLR. 30-35% is a common and easy to get discount when you shop around.

Do you have any suggestions on brands I should check out? It's amazing how many sleepers these can handle. The double garage bunks are genius.
