Ended up being some sort of computer malfunction. Not sure exactly what they did but they "reset" something that was causing the issue. We moved on and are now in Colorado. We have not had anymore issues so far. Mechanic just said sensors and filter were in good shape. Again, not sure what the exact issue was but the truck is running like a champ since he reset.
