Truck Finally done !!

Afternoon all,

I just sitting down to have a cold one, and share with all you wonderful people my truck bed that is finally they way I want it.

Mamma Bear and I installed the tool box today!!

2007 Chevy 3500 Classic, with 26k miles on it!!

We have a G2 Rollbak cover, RDS 45 Gal Aux tank, and a nice tool box for all the stuff that you don't want in the RV..

Here are some pictures, just had to share with the people who appreciate things!

Hi. No, I am 6"1' and don't have any problems reaching over the side of the truck.

How do you reach the auxiliary tank to fill it? Do you have steps on the side of your truck? Or use a step ladder.

we've had the RollBak for six years, (on it's second truck), and it has been great! Been thinking about adding an auxiliary tank, but was worried about clearance. Your installation looks great, and makes me want to think about this further. Congrats on a great project. JT

The basic answer would be yes, there is a "sweet spot" that is marked on the side with little shocks.

Also it is adjustable like a standard hitch.

I have a BD3 Hensley air hitch and I had a Retrax rollup cover on a 07 classic Silverado Dually. My extended pin box contacted(hit) the Retrax side rails in tight turns on uneven ground.
I'm not claiming you will have this issue but beware in tight turns.
I eventually got rid of the Retrax and now have a Bak Flip G2 folding cover

Have never seen anything like that! Very jealous.
A question: the red line (top picture). Is that an air line? By the name of the hitch that is probably a silly question. How does that baby work?
