New or used rig, don't use water. We have used Wash Wax All by Aero Cosmetics since day one. We bought our rig off the lot so it probably got a couple of baths with Dawn at the dealership. This product is easy, spray on, wipe off with microfiber mop head that is on a long pole. Look at their website, it was originally invented for airplanes. When it rains, it just beads up. I have no connection with the company, just really like this easy to use product, no ladders or long hours spent waxing. The initial kit is about $240, but well worth it.
