Weighed the truck and 5er today

Most axles I've seen with 6 lugs and 15" wheels usually are 5200 lb axles.

Looks like you have a well matched combo.

Tires are rated ~2540 so I would guess about 4,400 or 5,000# trailer axels.
Look for a small aluminum strap on the axle with a part number. Or any part number.

Give coachmen a call. They should be able yo tell you which axles came on ur rig.

Front axle 5200
Rear axle 6830
So I think I am ok. I have put off weighing the truck because after reading several others weights on here I thought I would be disappointed in my payload capacity. And I am. But glad to know I am well under axle ratings.
As to the trailer axles. The sticker on the front corner has long since faded away. Where would one look for the axle ratings? 5er came with 225R15 D rated tires and 6 lug wheels if that helps.

I wonder if that FAWR you found is for a 2003 f350 6.0. I dont know if they changed. If OP has a 4700 FAWR he is over unloaded. I have a 2002 f350 SRW 7.3 and my FAWR is 5200. My last trip across the scales was with my TT. My front axle weighed 4730. This was fully loaded for camping no tt hooked up. Very similar FAW to the OP.

Fords spec sheet was 80 pages long and the 5200 FAWR didn't show up till around page 50. I read up to about page 20 or so till the F250/F350 specs ran out and jumped to the F450/550 trucks.

His door post placard will tell the story.

For the truck either one on the drivers door frame or door post. For the trailer there should be a sticker on the left front corner.

Assuming your F350 is a SRW your well under the F350 SRW 6830 RAWR.

However the '03 F350 SRW shows a 4400 or 4800 FAWR. With a 4860 lbs over the steer axles FAWR which includes springs/tires and wheels.

Your trucks drivers side door post has a GVWR/FAWR/RAWR vehicle placard.

You may want to do something with decreasing weight on the trucks front suspension or beefing it up a bit.

Ideally one should weigh each side of an axle. The average could be within requirements but one side could be low and the other above limits depending on loading.
