3k pin without anything in the garage so at but not over my GVWR of the truck (11.5k) as it weighs 8500 ready to tow. 16k ready to camp. So, also within my numbers. If I load the garage (pin goes down) or fill the water tank to capacity, I stay within my truck's GVWR, GAWR, tire ratings, and only go over GCWR which is not a concern for me. Thanks much for your interest in my weights and truck recommendations though. It's good to know my fellow RVers care...

By the way, I see you posted your pin weight is at 3420. I think you have more to worry about than me. Is your dually or 450 on order? I'm worried about you...

Nope, I checked my actual scaled numbers and found I was over on RAWR ONLY. I changed to a non-slider hitch and put the truck on a diet. Moved more heavy stuff to the rear of the trailer. Fine now. Plus my 600lb bike will help.

I highly doubt that. It depends on what's on board that toy hauler but 4,000 pounds of pin weight is going to overload probably every 3/4 ton, 4 door truck on the planet.

A 1500 pound difference in GVWR results in a 40% difference in payload capacity. 1500 pounds seems like nothing until you realize that over 70% of the GVWR is eaten up by the truck weight--the rest is what is available for payload, aka, pin/hitch weight when towing. It isn't insignificant.

Yes, that is the reason for the de-rated 350 SRW's. For 2015 there is a 9900 GVWR package (in the past it was a 10k de-rate) that is free. Nothing changes on the truck but the sticker.
