Try using a drier sheet dipped in water, bugs come right off. I know it sounds weird but it works. Gotta wax it after that though. The wax won't keep the bugs from sticking but they'll come off easier next time. I usually go over it with the brush/soap first, then break out the drier sheets to get the rest of the stubborn ones off.
