Bought some new circuit breakers for the batteries. Tired of having problems with fuses making bad connections at the battery (there is a cluster there that feeds the trailer) and delivering only a few amps to the trailer. You know it's an issue when you have the tools (brush, pliers) someplace easy to reach. Going to replace with a 12v circuit breaker (same amp rating) and new wiring ends to eliminate that. Getting ready for a full 6 days camping on New Years!

I need to replace one set of tire covers, they don't last long in the desert sun. Tires are new, need to keep them that way.

I'm not he weight police but will research out the minutiae on the vehicle I own so I know which component is the weakest in capacity. I then determine which ratings are limited by truck class rather than component - This where I feel safe hauling or towing.

Weight police? That is funny. I am towing a 11.5K trailer with my 7.3. Is that too much also? Thanks.

Just watch your rear tire and rim capacity on those heavy pin weight models. You can upgrade to 19.5" wheels to get 9K lbs or more of capacity on your rear axle.

I by no means trying to argue what you are saying here. But, I find it kind of odd that subsituting a larger weight capacity wheel from your stock wheel seems to be ok. But adding airbags is the worst possible thing to do to gain a higher gross weight. Does anyone else see irony in this. Or maybe the 19.5 wheel is a oem option. Is that a possibility from factory?

To bedlam, I by no means am trying to call you out on anything. I dont know if you are a weight police type person or not. Im surprised that the weight police havent come out and hung your statement out to dry. Maybe Im reading to much into it. Have a good day all. I need to start this thread from the begining......
