While our 15k BTU main unit is ducted there was too much of a temp difference from one end to the other (10-20 deg). Freeze the bunkhouse to cool the Master bedroom or roast the bunkhouse to heat.... Combined with some temperature sensitive asthma, we had a Dometic 13.5k BTU heat pump installed in the Master Bedroom and are very pleased. Don't always have to use it, but when we do it's awesome. Cost just over $1000.00 installed. Some units are pretty loud so do your homework. Personally, I like sleeping to the white noise of the fan.
