There are 2 ways of thinking on this...first the cost ain't a whole lot of difference between a 15k and a 13k, in fact I got a 15k cheaper then the dealer could install a 13....$800 installed...also not a major difference in size just a couple of inchs... But say your main AC goes out on a trip,,,mine did.. you stand a better chance cooling your whole rig with the 15k.... It also does a better job cooling down your rig quick. That is all we mainly use ours for is the intial cool down because our main that is ducted will handle the load even in Texas. Buuuutt if you boondock a lot you may want the 13k since it will make your generator happier.....Myself I say go big or go home lol lol
