Which satellite system along the East coast.

The most flexible for Dish is to be able to pick up the eastern and western arc satellites. A tri-pod or Winegard Carry Out will do that. My Carry Out has switches to select eastern, western and hybrid(mix of eastern and western) satellites. If a tripod is used you need a dish that is versatile enough to select the eastern or western arcs. That can be a challenge :-) That is why I went to the Carry Out to automatically select the chosen satellites. If is unable to get a clear view of the sky for all sat's it will select what it can see.
