We use a Dish 1000.2 with a EA Hybrid feeding a new Hopper 3 receiver. This set up will get any programming Dish offers and the DVR will record up to 16 programs at one time...NEVER a recording conflict! The dish is mounted on a surveyors tripod and since we are currently on a heavily wooded site it is feeding from 100' away on the other side of a tree line. We have been full timing for 6 years and have never had a problem concerning theft of ANYTHING.
