That line is more than likely, your black tank flusher.

On the top of the 2 lines, there should be a black looking box where both lines flow into. This is your black tank anti-syphon valve.

I found it easiest to unscrew the lines from the anti-syphon valve and simply add some antifreeze with a funnel right there.

I also found that once I disconnect that valve, gravity will flow any water left in the line out both ends. A simply blow on the line and you can tell if all the water is out. Done.

Or, just use an air compressor and blow that line out through the outside hose attachment for the black tank flusher.

But, that's what it is.

Edit: Just saw Old Biscuit's post. You can still unscrew the anti-syphon and pour some antifreeze right there (or blow, as I see you've already done this).

Leave it to the biscuit.

Thanks to all for the responses. Old Biscuit hit the nail on the head. Once I looked at it with his input it was clear as a bell. I blew it out with an air hose, 40 pounds.

That would be for the 'black tank flush system' with an 'anti-siphon backflow preventor vacuum breaker' device

Line coming up to bottom of device ......inlet from hose connection on side of rig

Line going out the side of device ......goes to spray nozzle in sidewall of tank


Line from device to tank..drains into tank no need javascript:;for anti-freeze in that section
Line from hose connection......some use a pump to get antifreeze into that section of line, some use an air chuck adapter and blow it out,

Hard to say, but if you've run pink through all the water uses, including the toilet and outside shower, that should do it. I also have a line that I can see in my basement that never fills. Never been a problem. I thought mine might have to do with the water heater being bypassed.

Outside shower? Where is the pump or the city water connection ?

You've tried or opened the tub faucet, shower hose, toilet, toilet sprayer and outside shower - I can't think of anything else back in that area.

Don't forget to winterize the black tank flusher if you have one.
