We have the Titan actuator and it has worked well for us. We used our Max Brake for over 5 years and it is a wonderful controller, unfortunately no longer made. When we bought our 2014 Dodge it had an integrated controller and we decided to try it for a year. Dutch does like it a bit more than I do which is why I still have my Max Brake for a "just in case". Hugs, Di

Definitley one of those 'wish for' upgrades. I have a hard time installing on my 14 year old rig. I'm well aware of the safety argument and I may indeed regret it one day.

All I can say is good for you!

Aren't they awesome!

Mine came with factory Kodiak disks and the Carlisle actuator. It also had a Carlisle factory interface module "HBA-CAM" that let me hook up my older Ford integrated controller that doesn't have a selectable electric or electric/hydraulic brake type - no issues.

Yep, we agree. We had Kodiak disc brakes installed on our 38' Carriage way back in 2000 and I'm still glad we have them. Not only do they do a great job but we have had basically no issues with them. We also feel Kodiak is a great company to deal with. Hugs, Di

Worth every penny many times over. When some fool does something in front of me I know I can stop. Peace of mind is worth the cost. I know the cost is expensive but what is your and your families lives worth? Ron

Wow is right. Unreal difference. It's nice knowing every time you apply the brakes you know exactly what to expect. Worth EVERY penny. Congrats and enjoy. Phillip

Good job,I got the disk on my FW but I have to fight for it because the Newmar don't offer the disk brake for the Kountry Star.I told the dealer if they don't install I don't buy the trailer.Disk brake and 6 points leveling system is the best improvements .

They easily could have a trailer free standing anti lock setup. It is only money and would just cost a grand or two more! Just need a separate line to each wheel, wheel sensors, a computer and control manifold. Chris

Now, if they could only tie in the ABS system... BTW, I saw a video about 30 years ago showing a =semi= with ABS on all axles. Way cool!

aruba5er -

the new truck has a control in the settings screen to change between ELECTRIC ONLY ... OR ELECTRIC OVER HYDRAULIC.. that is why I waited till now , I have had the parts for 2 months , just was not going anywhere far , and did not want to get an additional controller for 2 short trips...
