During the winter we spend two or three weeks at Sumter Oaks, an Escapees RV Club owned park near Bushnell, FL. After that, we usually spend a couple of weeks each at a few Florida state parks, sometimes interspersed with a few days at private parks to coordinate reservation availability. Then we slowly start north, spending a couple of days to a week at various parks along the way as weather warms up. I highly recommend the Alafia River, Lake Luisa, and Myakka River State Parks in Florida. Many state and national parks have a 14 night limit, ruling out longer stays in any one park.
