Anyone from Mexico?

I know it’s been a while, but I can give you some advice from someone who has traveled to Mexico frequently. 

Whatever you do and wherever you go, make sure you have reliable internet. Don’t rely on roaming, it’s expensive. A local SIM isn’t a great option either, as scams are common, and you don’t want to deal with that once you’re already there. You need to be prepared in advance.

As someone with experience traveling in Mexico, I highly recommend using an eSIM, specifically this Mexico eSIM that I personally use. It’s easy to set up, works perfectly, and is affordable, with plans starting at just $8.

Are you looking for tent camping or bring an RV?  There are many balnearios and protected areas.  Here is a state-run website that outlines in detail those areas.  You would have to check each one to find camping.  Guanajuato is a beautiful state.

Update with my query: I am considering going to Las Palomas Natural Reserve or El Chico National Park. Those two seem good places to hike.
