Canada Day

Happy July 4.

Hope my fellow Canadians had a great Canada day and hope our neighbours (sp?) to the south have a great Independence day tomorrow!

A bit late here But Happy Canada day to our GREAT!!! Neighbors to the North.

We're very proud to have a close border relationship with our neighbors, Canada. We really enjoy our Canadian friends while down in Florida for the winters too. And darn, some of them play a pretty mean golf game. Even some folks way north and in the woods. Can't figure out how they play so well when they don't have many courses in their areas.

Here's to many more years of peaceful coexistence between our borders.

Canada - USA - longest shared border - ANYWHERE. PEACE to us. Bless Canada, bless the USA.

We're seeing a little blue sky for the first time in over a week. Last year everything was burnt to a crisp - this year it's a jungle. Hopefully it won't rain again until after the big fireworks on Parliament Hill tonight.

There aren't any Tims in California. :(

I had to have someone ship me 3 giant boxes of Timbits when I got a major craving. Seriously, donut holes in every donut flavor - GENIUS!!!!!!!! And I haven't found any donut place outside of Tims that does it. I hate jelly donuts - but jelly timbits are the perfect ratio of jelly to donut.

Poutine donuts - hmmmmm. But unless it comes in a timbit... Nothing better than a road trip with a box of assorted timbits - getting random flavors with each bite.

At least we are getting all dressed chips - but I swear they have watered down the flavor here. I ate a bag of a real Canadian ones and a week later got some US sold ones and the flavor was weaker...
