2000 winnebago V 10

I have a 2000 Winnebago with the V 10. I am wondering if anyone else with the V10 around that year is having or had an issue with wiring? If you go down bumpy roads does your coach go into safe mode? Or check engine light comes on? We have changed censors and fuel pump already and still have issues. Any ideas? Thanks Also no codes show up on the computer.
  • I think that I would start looking for a loose or broken electrical connection in the dash/instrument panel area. I've been told that a code will set when the check engine light comes on, but have found that not to be always true. These problems can sometimes be hard to locate, looked for two weeks off and on for a ground problem once. Hope you are able to locate your problem.
  • Being a 2000 model year I would look at the wiring for signs of wear or mouse damage. Also check the battery cables and connections for corrosion and dirt.

If it happens when hitting bumps look for wiring harness that are getting pinched between to places.
  • When the engine light comes on it leaves a code. Find out what that code is and start there.
  • Not here. Lift up your instrument panel and see if there are any pinched or chaffed wires under there.
