1. I would check your electrical connection. Ours was doing the same thing once while we camped but when we disconnected and ran it with the generator on it was fine.
2. If you run a search for years past in Class B with "Air Conditioner" you should see many posts.
We had to replace a couple of our units on our Xplorer and I remember that someone (years ago) replaced his and there are specifics in some old posts. We always paid to have ours replaced as we are not very...well, handy with things like that.
If you can't find that post let me know and I will search. I think I have it book marked somewhere.
Also, don't run your AC when parked on a slant...we found out that will kill the unit.
