2005 F53 Cruise Control Servo Location

Hi all,

Been here a few times in the past year with CC issues. I spent over $1000 dollars in diagnostics and replacing misc components (Pressure switch, steering wheel switches, brake light sensor/switch) and finally going to a garage and them finding out my CC servo went bad. I spent all that money, cruise worked for 2 trips and went bad again. I refuse to spend another $650 in labor (part is covered) and need help in figuring out where this CC servo is located.
The servo I am talking about has the cable that has a twist and lock attachment so it must be somewhere located around the gas pedal but I cannot find it!
Any help would be appreciated because I can replace the part easy enough but I am not going to pay a garage all that labor because they know where it is.
My rig is a 2005 Holiday Rambler 30PDD with the 6.8 V10

Thanks for any help in advanced!

    Hi All!

Sorry for the delayed response but I finally fixed my CC issue! It was in fact the cruise control module, which was at the front most of the motor. Looks like the bracket was bolted to the radiator support. With a lot of patience I managed to get the old one out and re-install a new one and it worked!

    Thanks for all your help!!

  • Pull the dog house off. Trace the cable back from the throttle body and you have it.
  • I don't think days of old are on you coach. I believe it is controlled by computer now saying that did you check all of the fuses or the switch for cruse control?also make sure you brake switch isn't the problem this may be causing it no to engage.
