We are trying to find a solution to the noise that our hood makes when traveling. The howl and vibrations is just about unbearable. The generator is behind the hood.

- We never thought about it being the mirrors! We will try it next week.
Also if that doesn't work, the foam inside might work if it is the hood.
Thanks so much! - When we bought our previous RV, a 2005 Cross Country, we also thought the hood was howling. Turned out it was the gross adjustment of the mirrors, They worked OK with the remote but had to use the included allen wrench outside to reposition the distance from the coach. Took a few miles to get it just right.
- Maybe some foam tape around the inside lip of the door. If gen is on a table it might be moving around. lube the bearing with grease and see if that it also. You also could clamp it down.
