2008 Country Coach Affinity --service checklist?

I have a 2008 Country Coach Affinity. Great coach, great physical condition. But now it is 6.5 years ago (purchased early 2007) and has not been used in the last year or so.

I am planning on a long trip to Alaska in April/May and a few short trips in the next few months.

What should I get serviced and where? The coach is in Las Vegas. I feel that I should get the engine oil/coolant/etc done by a Freightliner or someone that services trucks (it has a Cummins engine) and I also think it is time for change all of the tires (again, probably a truck shop?)

Can someone recommend a truck shop? Do these guys know what the checklist is for servicing this coach? Does anyone have access to this checklist?

I probably need to also change instahot coolant, generator oil, ??.
Should I change: engine batteries and the coach (deep cycle) batteries?

Without a doubt stop at Junction City OR on your want to Alaska and get service done at the Country Coach factory. We have been there twice and can highly recommend them. It is very likely their charges will be less than what you would pay in Vegas or LA. Unless something has to be done local I am getting all my work done in the future in the Junction City area. We have had very good luck with a couple of providers.

As far as tires. There is a Les Schwab right next to the CC factory. If you want Michelin and you are a FMCA member, arrange to get the tires through the FMCA program.

Perhaps not, but by the time you repeat it on the internet, it just became hearsay, without any substantive input.

Nearest location to you is Phoenix (Avondale) AZ. They also take care of Onan generators.
We have used several Coach Care locations throughout the US and have been very pleased with them. Made appointments and they kept them on the dot.
FMCA has discount program for Michelin tires.

That coach will have a Cummins ISX, probably 600hp, although there was an option of a 650hp version.

I didn't see your post when I responded, but I'm glad we agree! CC did a great job on our coach this summer. When we first arrived in June, a fellow RVer who had just bought a 2008 Magna had his in for some modifications, and from our discussion with him, he was very satisfied with the work CC did for him.

You might try W.W. Williams in Las Vegas. I use them in Tucson for all my service here and they provide excellent service on for just about any chassis work.

Rafo, if you are a member of FMCA (Family Motor Coach Assc.) you can go through the Michelin program. I just did that with our coach buying 8 new 295/80r/22.5 tires. Pete's tire service (chain out west) gave me $50 each for the take-off's.

Get that coach on the road and enjoy!

I'd also replace my serpentine belt on the engine just for good measure. We just got our 6 year old Allure and I did all the stuff on George's list along with new serpentine belt and had the differential lube changed.

I replaced the serpentine belt on MY Allure in 2012 and it was 12 years old and looked NEW. I kept the used belt for sure as an emergency backup.

I most definitely would want a belt to take on the road with me if I were headed to Alaska but dont really know if its necessary to change one ASAP.
