Effy! Sorry I wasn't around, it was nascar weekend at Chicagoland speedway, and we've been camping in the infield, haven't touched a computer since Thursday morning (DW says Go Brad!!)
Wife has a 2010 liberty, looks just like the one you posted. We bought it new, (47,000 trouble free miles, looking to need brakes and tires soon) and recently set it up to tow.
Used a blue ox baseplate, took me 4 hours to install it.
Pic 12 in the add clearly shows the transfer case selector, and this is the one that can be toad. There is a tiny button with a "N" next to it, in front of the selector knob. Push and hold with a ballpoint pen, light flashes 4 times and goes solid, tiny click, and done. take the key and hook er up.
I like the liberty (I like my wrangler TJ better---lol) It will hold 3 full sized humans and 3 full sized dogs easy. (wrangler won't) gets decent mileage (better than the wrangle TJ) and it's still a jeep, and will go places no Honda will ever see.
