Ok now I'm more confused.. My WFCO 9800 series manual states that there are 3 charging modes.
Float Mode = 13.2 Vdc
Absorption Mode = 13.6 Vdc
Bulk Mode = 14.4 Vdc
The switching between modes is automatic and sensed by the converter on what condition the battery is at and needs for the charging.
With that Bulk Mode, it is just below the voltage that the Progressive Dynamics converter has on bulk mode and looks to be just fine for the Trojan's.
Progressive Dynamics Converter:
Float Mode = 13.2 Vdc
Normal (absorption) = 13.6 Vdc
Bulk Mode = 14.8 Vdc
So there is a 0.4 increase on the bulk mode only. Would this be significant enough to warrant the upgrade?
Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
