It has been 11 weeks today that my New Leprechaun has been in the shop. I went there this morning to check on progress. The paint seems to be complete and looks pretty good as far as I can tell. I went inside and it looks like there has been no progress on the interior. I also saw that the Sealtech machine was sitting inside and had been being used again. I spoke with the technician that has been doing a lot of the work to get an update on where we were at. I like him a lot and I think he is being honest with me which I appreciate. He told me that as a result of the sprinkler testing they did they are still finding water intrusion, and that is why they have the Sealtech machine back in the unit. He told me they found several more small leaks farther back and that the water from those leaks eventually migrates forward and ends up in the cap. I am either the worlds unluckiest person or Coachmen has a real problem with their Leprechaun series and I hope that I can make others who own Leprechaun’s aware so they keep an eye out for the problem. I am attaching links to two videos. One was taken several months ago when we first discovered how bad the water problem was, and the second was taken today showing where we are now. What a nightmare this has been.
