Check at the converter for proper voltage. If you have it on the terminal strips, check at the battery. If you don't have it at the battery, then it's either the positive or negative wire from the converter to the battery. Identify both, and check for tightness at each end. My problem was a loose heavy negative wire screwed into the negative terminal strip. When I wiggled the wire, the lights suddenly got bright so I found it easily. The screw took two full turns to make it tight.
