2015 Winnebago View electric awning problem

Hi Folks,

We are the original owners of this view. Love it. One problem since day 1 has been the awning. Main problem now - it often does not fully close on retraction. The motors work to rewind, it gets back to the place where the plastic cover is supposed to go around the awning and it just stops. Only way to get it back is for me or my wife to climb on the roof and manually lift that plastic sheath so it can go around the rolled awning.

Any of you had this? Any ideas? I've had dealers look at it, and they have both told me I have no problem or that they fixed the problem.

OK, that's kind of amazing - did you get the pieces and do it yourself or have a dealer?

Winnie forgets to put the plastic pieces on to lift the metal cover. Should be one on each end of the awning.
