Thanks. We haven't had a chance to play with it yet. In a PM someone suggested turning the recliner sideways. While getting our first look I quickly loosened the recliner and moved it closer to the wall. That provided easier access. Perhaps when the slides are extended it will allow better positioning of the recliner for travel.
