A&E Weather Pro Awning Replacement

Hi, my A&E awning on our 2007 Winn Voyage is 13 yr old and needs replacement. It is an electric in/out version. Has anyone done this? Do you recommend I buy the Sunbrella awning from A&E or switch to a better one? Source? Any links or suggestions comments would be appreciated.

Thank you !!

Yup if is just the fabric it is easy to do and not as expensive as the 400 motor in an electric A&E (other than motor price same is true of all makes).

...just the fabric. I contacted ShadePro as suggested above. They did an excellent job, provided an exact fit replacement.
  • Check out StoneVoss http://stonevoss.com/
They are RVers and started the business because of the lousy fabrics and
threads being used . They research and use the best of both .
They can walk / talk you through what ever you are trying to do .
They also now do other RV service too . Really good site for other items too

  • You will need to be careful about where you get the replacement fabric. The original WeatherPro had a metal hinged cover and the Replacement Fabric from Dometic will NOT fit the older Weatherpro's. You sometimes have to add an extra Hinged metal piece to get the new fabric to fit. So, when trying other aftermarket sources, make sure you and they understand this possible problem. You will need to contac Dometic with your Model/Serial Number and Production number of the awning to get the correct fabric and advice on that hinged cover.
