If this system has been open to the atmosphere and has got air into it you may need more than the condenser. AC compressors do not like air. Even it remained sealed after the mishap you will need to evacuate the air from the system after replacing the condenser. If it remained sealed you will need to evacuate the freon from the system before pulling the condenser out. JMT
