AC Radiator

I am looking to replace this ac radiator that works with a fan attached to it that's is part of the ac system. I had a accident a while back and the ac radiator was slightly bent and now need to replace it. I'm not sure of the correct name for this part but if someone could maybe steer me in the right location I would really appreciate it. Anyway this part sits up front under the rv kinda low.

Mr bycracky where is best place to buy receiver/dryer.
I went to auto parts with the condenser and they suggested
a radiator shop

first off identify what yours is as in what brand/make it is.
A national brand auto store should be able to identify and supply
it needs not be identical just has to have same fittings etc
obviously the auto parts store u went to is not a very good one so
let me know what u have and I can locate one if u cant
copy and paste this link and u will find many pictures of dryers
If u see one like yours click on the picture and it shows u where u can buy it online.it also shows condensers

You'll probably need a compressor after two years open to the air. The components of the coolant turn to acid with the introduction of moisture from the atmosphere and destroy everything it touches.
Don't even try to just install new parts and fill with freon, you'll just be wasting your money.

The compressor will be just fine.assuming it was fine before system was shut down.Heck I buy used compressors from the wreckers and change out bad ones all the time over the years and have never had a problem other than the odd front seal leak/seepage.If its minor u usually just add redteck seal sealer when recharging.I do this as precaustion all the time
I have never seen a compressor destroyed by acid as u say happens?

The condenser is now off , no Freon or anything came out when it was removed. We have not used the cab air for a couple of years.

after siting open for 2 years you should replace the receiver/dryer when u replace the condenser and then evacuate to make sure it holds vacuum and then refill

Nevertheless the system will need to be evacuated with a vacuum pump. Oil and refrigerant charge will be added after the system holds the vacuum to make sure there are no leaks. This is best done by a reputable A/C repair shop.

If this system has been open to the atmosphere and has got air into it you may need more than the condenser. AC compressors do not like air. Even it remained sealed after the mishap you will need to evacuate the air from the system after replacing the condenser. If it remained sealed you will need to evacuate the freon from the system before pulling the condenser out. JMT

They repaired the condenser for my mid-90s Beaver. Straightening, sealing a gaping hole, cleaning, pressure testing and shipping was about $100. A replacement was about $500.
